Shannon DeSimone, FNP

Shannon DeSimone, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 26 years of experience in inpatient, long-term care, rehabilitation, and palliative care. She currently works as a Clinical Research APRN at ALSA Research, where she serves as a Sub-Investigator in multiple Phase 2 and 3 trials, including studies on treatments for obesity and hypothyroidism.

Shannon has extensive clinical experience, having worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Impact Health PC since 2022, managing medically complex patients in sub-acute rehab. Previously, she provided care in the Geriatric Assessment Center at Stamford Health, focused on elderly patients’ health management, and served as Clinical Lead at Team Health in Southern Connecticut, overseeing care for long-term and rehabilitation patients. She has also worked in wound care and managed community-based care for patients with disabilities.
