Eligible ages

Adults 18+

Compensation

Up to $1,525 may be available for time and travel

Who is eligible

Qualified Participants Must: • Be 12 years of age or older • Have a chronic, stable condition that increases flu-complication risk (e.g., chronic pulmonary disorders including asthma/COPD; cardiac disease; neurologic/neuromuscular disorders; diabetes; chronic kidney or liver disease; BMI ≥40 kg/m²) OR • Be immunocompromised or on a current immunosuppressive therapy (e.g. cancer therapy, solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, chronic immunosuppressants, HIV) Additional criteria may apply, and eligibility is confirmed by the study team.

What's involved

Details vary from study to study, but participation generally includes an initial visit to see whether a study is a good fit, followed by a series of visits or check-ins with the research team over a period of time. During the process, the team will explain everything involved and answer your questions before you decide whether to take part. Qualified volunteers may receive study-related care at no cost, and compensation up to $1,525 for time and travel may be available. Participation is voluntary, and health insurance is not required.
