Sleep Research Study for Children Ages 2–17

If your child is between 2 and 17 years old and has ongoing trouble falling asleep, consider a research study evaluating a new investigational treatment for pediatric insomnia. This clinical trial will help further evaluate the safety and effects of a new investigational treatment in children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with insomnia disorder. The study includes a screening period, a 3-month treatment period, and a 9-month open-label extension during which all participants receive the active study medication. Compensation may be available for those who qualify and participate in the study.

Who is eligible

Children between 2 and 17 years of age who: - Have ongoing trouble falling asleep - Have a parent or legal guardian able to provide consent and accompany the child to study visits - Who are willing and able to comply with study requirements There may be additional requirements that our team will discuss with you to see if your child qualifies.

What's involved

The study includes a screening period, a 3-month treatment period, and a 9-month open-label extension during which all participants receive the active study medication. Qualified participants may: • Receive compensation for time and travel • See a study doctor at no cost • Receive access to a new investigational treatment • Have many study visits conducted remotely (by phone or in-home nurse) when appropriate Participation is voluntary, and health insurance is not required.
