What's involved

This research study is evaluating whether an investigational daily oral medication called enobosarm, taken alongside weekly semaglutide (Wegovy) injections, can support healthier body composition during weight loss—all participants receive Wegovy and are randomly assigned to also take either enobosarm or a placebo capsule. Participation involves about 68 weeks of treatment with clinic visits roughly every four weeks, including body weight checks, body-composition scans, physical function tests, and standard safety assessments.
