People who are immunocompromised, dealing with chronic medical conditions, or aged 65+ can have lower protection from flu shots and be at higher risk of flu-related complications.
A research study is now enrolling for a single-dose investigational medicine designed for season-long flu prevention for people with an increased risk of flu complications. Qualified volunteers may receive study‐related care at no cost, and you may be compensated up to $1,535 for time and travel. Space is limited—apply today to see if you qualify.
You may be eligible if you are:
- 12 years of age or older
- Have a chronic, stable condition that increases flu-complication risk (e.g., pulmonary disorders including moderate to severe asthma and COPD; cardiac disease; diabetes; chronic kidney or liver disease)
- OR You are 65 years of age or older and otherwise healthy
- OR You are immunocompromised or on a current immunosuppressive therapy (e.g. cancer therapy, solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, chronic immunosuppressants, HIV)
Additional criteria may apply. A full list of study criteria will be reviewed with you by our team.
Qualified participants may receive:
- Access to study medications
- See a study doctor at no cost
- Compensation for time and travel
- The opportunity to help advance potential new options for flu prevention
Participation is voluntary, and health insurance is not required.
