Knee Osteoarthritis Research Study

Osteoarthritis of the knee is a common joint condition that causes ongoing pain and stiffness. This clinical trial is evaluating an investigational treatment, given as a single injection to the knee, for pain due to knee osteoarthritis.

Adults 40-80

Compensation

Up to $500 for time and effort

Who is eligible

- Be 40 to 80 years of age - Have experienced knee osteoarthritis symptoms for at least 6 months - Have tried at least one prior treatment for knee osteoarthritis within the past year (such as a structured exercise program or over-the-counter pain relievers) without adequate relief - Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 kg/m² or less - Be willing to complete a brief daily electronic pain diary - Additional criteria may apply and will be reviewed with you

What's involved

Qualified participants will receive a single study injection to the knee and be followed for about 12 weeks through a mix of in-person and phone visits, along with a brief daily electronic pain diary. Study-related care is provided at no cost, and compensation up to $500 may be available for time and travel. Health insurance is not required, and participation is voluntary.
